For over a decade Marvin has become a voice of hope for many, as an award-winning speaker that has spoken to thousands including corporations, faculties, student bodies and Christian audiences. He began his career as a professional communicator in 1995 when he landed his first job in radio. He later attended Los Angeles Valley College School of broadcasting. His experience as a radio broadcaster, news anchor, events host and platform speaker creates a delivery that keeps audiences wanting more.

Marvin is the founding producer of community empowerment events The CNN.com Nationally Recognized Baton Rouge MLK Leadership Awards which honors men of color in community leadership, The Empowered Woman Honors which honors women of color in community leadership, Purpose Fest, a yearly fourth quarter event that empowers individual with vision/life mapping for the upcoming year.

Marvin is the author of two lifestyle empowerment books, "You Can Do This" and "For Winner’s Only". He is currently working to finalize the manuscript, "Price Change”-Know Your value..Live Your Worth, an empowerment coaching journal to recognize, build and demand personal value and worth.
